Daye Bensa has become a benchmark for quality in Sidama, known for producing coffees that consistently perform on the world stage. With farms and collection sites spread across the highlands between 1900 and 2300 meters, their coffees benefit from ideal growing conditions, rich soils, and cool mountain air.
This natural heirloom lot showcases everything we love about Ethiopia. Ripe cherries are carefully handpicked, sorted, and dried on raised African beds under the sun, where they are regularly turned to ensure even drying. The attention to detail in the process preserves the delicate floral aromatics while building layers of fruit-forward sweetness.
The result is a vibrant and elegant cup. Expect ripe blackberry and juicy plum balanced with the refined lift of jasmine tea. A beautiful example of Sidama’s reputation for expressive, fruit-driven coffees.
